Hanson, executive director of the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics, about mixed messages delivered to Chinese suppliers about labor and environmental standards as purchasers push for cheaper and cheaper prices, with big players almost dictating the terms of contracts. They discuss the possibility of instituting international labor standards.
