This one-pager summarizes Digital Promise's vision for Artificial Intelligence in education. Digital Promise is focused on AI in education to foster a future where every person engages in sustained and impactful experiences of powerful learning that lead to a life of well-being, fulfillment, and economic mobility.

This one-sheet handout provides a list of six discussion questions to address at the initial planning stages for organizations interested in incorporating OER into their programs, grants, or activities. These questions are applicable to OER projects across academic disciplines and levels.

ISTE and New America interviewed district and state leaders, who shared key takeaways from their experiences with using PreK-12 open educational resources (OER).

The focus of many open education projects is to provide access to education. But what does access mean? If the materials are not accessible for each and every student, do they fulfill the mandate to deliver fully open education? The open education movement has helped people in different parts of the world access content that they would otherwise not be able to view or interact with. Open education resources reduce costs for students and allow for greater flexibility for instructors. Accessibility can help push the movement even further forward.

The goal of the OER Accessibility Toolkit is to provide the needed resources needed to each content creator, instructor, instructional designer, educational technologist, librarian, administrator, and teaching assistant to create a truly open and accessible educational resource — one that is accessible for all students.

This resource is used to provide library instruction for introductory undergraduate composition courses.

This brief anthology was created to partially satisfy a certification course project requirement. Nonetheless, this resource may be useful to education practitioners seeking quick guidance on creating and using open educational resources in their instructional practices. It contains handbooks and guides on intellectual property rights and OER development practices that should provide some insights into this developing area of instructional support.

On May 25, 2023, #GoOpen held a public webinar titled, "Educators Using OER to Identify and Remediate Bias."  This session focused on using OER to engage all learners through an interactive Climate Education experience and was facilitated by ISKME professional learning specialist, Joanna Schimizzi, and consultant, Christina Spears, with moderator, Amee Evans Godwin.

A set of tools and concrete examples to guide users through creating and evaluating OER with equity principles front of mind. EmpoweredOER adapts the BranchED Equity Rubric for OER Evaluation to expand on concepts with practical examples and suggestions and contextualises them for the Australian audience.

The Network of Conservation Educators and Practitioners (NCEP) produces peer-reviewed teaching resources summarizing topics on conservation biology. Each module contains a synthesis document outlining the main concepts of a subject, a modifiable visual presentation, classroom exercises and solutions, teaching notes, and interdisciplinary case studies. ​The Equity Through OER Rubric is a comprehensive self-assessment tool, designed to guide students, faculty, administrators and other academic practitioners and leaders in not only better understanding, but also acting on the equity dimensions of OER. The rubric is organized by categories, aligned with roles and functions for higher education institutions, units and practitioners. Its overarching goal is to enable users to integrate OER in equitable ways across higher education leading to quality and equitable student access, outcomes and success.

This programme consists of notes and demonstration videos that explain how to examine a near-term, pregnant woman. In the course of the programme, the learner will encounter the terms used to describe the relationship of the fetus to the mother's anatomy, and they will be expect to interpret and describe the findings of an examination on video, using these terms.

Pathways Project, an initiative from the Boise State University Department of World Languages, is an open and collaborative network of instructional materials and professional development created by and uniquely for Idaho’s K-16 language teachers and students.

Teachers and students participating in the Pathways Project come from different fields of study and schools across Idaho to create open (i.e., free), digital activities that support the teaching and learning of foreign languages and promote intercultural competence. We hope to impact the opportunities learners have to connect to the global world!
