The ESIP Federation, in cooperation with NOAA and the Data Conservancy, seeks to share the community's knowledge with scientists who increasingly need to be better data managers, as well as to support workforce development for new data management professionals. Over the next several years, the ESIP Federation expects to evolve training courses which seeks to improve the understanding of scientific data management among scientists, emerging scientists, and data professionals of all sorts.

All courses are available under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 license that allows you to share and adapt the work as long as you cite the work according to the citation provided. Please send feedback upon the courses to shortcourseeditors@esipfed.org.

In our european project “Circular Economy as a tool to develop an innovative eco-inclusive social entrepreneurship educational pattern for youth" cofunded by Erasmus+, the partnership developed a competency framework and report combining data and information from 6 partner countries, designed to inform Young people and Youth workers interested in Social Entrepreneurship through Circular Economy, including 7 key competences to embark on a Social Entrepreneurship endeavour through Circular Economy models.

Which kind of easy to understand information people need?

This publication contains the results of an easy to read survey to discover which kind of easy to understand information people with learning disability/low literacy skills need.
The survey involved twenty people from each of the following 6 European Countries: Italy, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal
and Spain. People with low literacy skills, with cognitive disabilities and refugees answered to the questionnaire showing an international view about people’s needs in terms of accessible information.
The questionnaire was specially created by the partners of the project Accessible Information Material (an Erasmus+ strategic partnership for innovation coordinated by Associazione Uniamoci Onlus) and adapted to the specific target of people which the organizations are most concerned with.
