Some special features of Chinese societies, cultures and customs will be introduced. The class consists of readings, discussion, student presentations and network exploration. It is currently in the process of being revised; the current edition contains only 15 chapters of the original 20 intended. Each chapter includes exercises, readings, and a particular grammatical lesson or lessons. There is a grammar appendix as well. Audio recordings may also be purchased to accompany the lessons.
