The course is designed to equip students with knowledge and abilities in the use of word processing, presentation and spreadsheet applications. The focuses of the course are on the integration and hands-on training on word processing, presentation and spreadsheet applications in producing business documents, designing slides for presentations and apply spreadsheets documentation. Students will be able to demonstrate the keyboarding techniques in relations to applied management studies. The course also emphasizes on applying the applications learnt by working in a team to produce group project and presentations that meets an organization’s needs.

This course will introduce the students to the concept and application of technical analysis, the various technical indicators, and investment decisions using technical tools. It emphasises the different techniques and strategies used in technical analysis software, employing both basic and advanced technical indicators in analysing the investment decision of a single asset. A basic understanding of technical analysis includes understanding charts, patterns, and trends, as well as the formation of price movements. Next, this course covers the construction of technical indicators. It would include several common technical indicators most technical analysts employ and some advanced patterns in the Japanese Candlestick chart. To enhance the students? Understanding a dedicated trading simulation lab equipped with trading software (BursaStation Professional), Metastock, or other relevant trading software.
This course provides the framework of financial planning by focusing on managing and organizing personal financial resources. It incorporates insurance planning which stresses the importance of protecting financial resources, investment planning for growth of resources, and long-term planning for old age survival.
