How to Use Microsoft Excel: The Careers in Practice Series is an textbook appropriate for a course covering Microsoft Excel at a beginner to intermediate level. It is geared toward and will be accommodating for students and instructors with little to no experience in using Microsoft Excel. However, the approach is not at the expense of relevance.

This lesson is to be used when beginning to teach Excel. Websites are provided for the curriculum and a project is available to use and modify as you choose. The project can be used as a checkpoint or as a final assessment.

This lesson uses a small snack to review spreadsheet tasks. It is typically enjoyable and memorable because the students get to eat as part of this lesson.

This is a final exam project for a class that teaches both basic Excel and Basic Programming materials. Students have previous lesson in Excel learning about formatting, formulas, and functions as well as previous lessons in Programming utilizing both the Micro:Bits and Scratch programming. 

This lesson focuses on Microsoft Excel 2010. It includes YouTubes on the application's interfaces, demonstrates how to create, save, edit, insert graphics, and create and insert charts as well as user created worksheets for these skills. It concludes with a final assessment which can be used to evaluate the user's ability to use the aplication.
