This Unit is a collection resources that cover a 4 week span. This unit was designed with EL students in mind. Each day has vocabulary that will allow students learn key phrases and attributes of each career. Each week a different categories of careers is highlighted through books, activites, and videos. The Global Digital Library (GDL) has been developed to increase the availability of high-quality reading resources in underserved languages worldwide where there is currently a lack of quality early grade reading resources. The site primarily hosts reading instruction books and storybooks for leisure reading, but the GDL will also link to more interactive resources, such as literacy games.
