This is an an online, mobile-friendly, digital language-learning grammar game collection for students of French created by Sonja Burrows and Brigitte Humbert at Middlebury College. It is a playful learning space, free and open to the public, where one can drop by anytime and from anywhere.
The games on the site are divided into three sections:
•Sentence Whiz, where users can practice questions, negations, relative pronouns, active and passive voice, and more structures.
•Word Nerd, where users can use nouns, adjectives, adverbs, pronouns, possessives, prepositions as well as additional parts of speech.
•Verb Challenge, where users can master past, present, and future verb tenses as well as tackle conditional, subjunctive, imperatives, and infinitives.
In addition, a guide for the learning space supports users who do not know where to begin or who would like to complete games in an established or recommended path. A resources area allows users to access explanations of grammar and, in some sections, traditional grammar exercises which support the games. Relevant sections of the resources area are linked to games which treat the same grammar points, so that users who complete a game and seek more practice or grammar explanations can easily find that needed support. A navigation and filtering system also allows users to select games which only treat a certain grammar point.

Students will practice introducing themselves, greeting someone, and answering how they are doing. They will also learn greetings for different times of the day. Students will understand the cultural importance of la bise, how this particular form of greeting differs in distinct areas of France, and deepen their cultural insights into how to perform a ubiquitous French greeting. Students will also learn about the geopolitical divisions in France.

In this activity, students will have a "Meet and Greet Party." This will help them practice introducing themselves, greeting someone, and answering how they feel. They will also learn greetings for different times of the day. 

Students will identify themselves using characteristics in French. Students will ask a partner questions about themselves to identify what the person is like. Students will then describe their partner to others.

In this activity, students will learn about cognates with a slideshow and play a cognate bingo game.

In this activity, students will discuss and answer questions about classes and school. They will also practice their school-related vocabulary and identify objects in French.

Students will talk about the days of the week and discuss their weekly schedules.

Students will review the verb avoir by going through flashcards and discussing things in their possession. 

Students will learn about families in French by looking at different family trees and creating their own with a partner

Students will practice looking at different parts of Paris on a map and practice describing their family members. 

In this activity, students are going to practice their prepositions, as well as their school supplies vocabulary. 

Students will discuss their pets and learn about the role of pets in French families.

In this activity, students will practice rejecting or accepting formal invitations to an afternoon or evening get-together. Students will also practice providing a reason for why they rejected an invitation. Additionally, students will practice inviting each other formally.

In this activity, students will learn about foods and menus by matching descriptions of meals to appropriate photos. They will also play a game of bingo for vocabulary related to ordering in a cafe.
