A very basic introduction to solving the Rubik's Cube. This is part of a demonstration of various design features that can improve learning. This version has none of those features! It's just text, so it would presumably be very difficult to learn from it.I hit some (secret) limit on the number of characters in the description, so I couldn't include the learning objectives. I'll put them in the first section instead.

A very basic introduction to solving the Rubik's Cube. This is part of a demonstration of various design features that can improve learning. This version has only one of those features: the Multimedia Principle (Clark and Mayer, 2016). It's a little better than text-only, but not a lot.

This is a classroom activity report on teaching algorithms as part of a second course in computer programming. Teaching an algorithm in an introductory level programming class is often a dry task for the instructor and the rewards for the student are abstract. To make the learning of algorithms and software more rewarding, this assignment employs a Rubik’s cube.
