- 2007 Japan Fulbright Memorial Fund Delegate
Teacher delegate to Japan for program designed to increase understanding between the people of Japan and the United States and gain knowledge into Education Systems. Created a Follow-on project for the community to experience Japan through an arts festival.

- 2012 FASD Florida Outstanding Staff Development Award
Statewide award presented by Florida Association of Staff Developers recognizing excellence in the innovative and effective design of model staff development initiatives.

- 2009 John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts On Location Award
National media and technology grant awarded to 10 U.S. schools to produce a documentary film on community artists. Hosted visiting artists in a school bus transformed into an editing studio and created a student-led documentary film on local arts scene.
