About me

I am a Program Coordinator at the Mid-Valley STEM-CTE Hub, operating from Linn-Benton Community College in Albany. With a background as a STEM/CTE educator, advocate, maker, and coach, Chris is dedicated to enhancing educational experiences. Specializing in empowering educators, Chris focuses on integrating hands-on learning,
STEAM-based play, and fostering creativity within PreK-12th grade classrooms. Chris launched the STE(A)M For The Win pilot project this past fall. This innovative project aims to cultivate students' employability skills by actively involving them in a range of STEAM activities including learning how to build, code, and fly drones.
