About me
I started my career as a high school English teacher and am now the teacher librarian at Columbia River High School in Vancouver, Washington. I received a Fulbright Distinguished Award in Teaching in 2018 and worked with educators at the University of Edinburgh's Centre for Research in Digital Education to explore a variety of topics related to digital citizenship and media literacy. I am also a past teacher trainer for OSPI and the Washington State Library on topics related to the Common Core State Standards, Digital Citizenship and WA Educational Technology Standards.
