The nonfiction articles provided on Wonderopolis are targeted for Fifth Grade readability.

Wonderopolis provides alignment for each passage using Common Core College and Career Readiness anchor standards that broadly define the skills (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) that all students must demonstrate upon graduation from high school. Next Generation Science Standards and National Council for the Social Studies are used as there aren't Common Core College and Career Readiness standards for these subjects.
