Group Description

The lessons provided here by Idaho is STEM are aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards, but could be adapted for different grade levels, depending on the performance expectation. Lessons are created by education students and their instructors, at times in conjunction with Idaho-based and/or Boise State STEM researchers. These lessons seek to highlight the three-dimensional nature (Science & Engineering Practices, Crosscutting Concepts, and Disciplinary Core Ideas) of rigorous science education and inquiry-based instruction. Additionally, these lessons seek to highlight the STEM that is all around us.

Please note that because these lessons are largely crafted by undergraduate students, we welcome collaboration from practicing teachers and researcher to help modify content when needed.
