Students will learn about different types of breeds within the American Kennel Club (AKC). They will determine breed and dog group differences between the major breed groups within the AKC standards.

Leadership Development Events are the contests within FFA that capitalize on students’ experiences and skills in speaking events. This activity introduces students to a handful of the many events that they can participate in within their FFA districts, state and national levels.
Pocket pets are small animals that are commonly had as pets in households with children. This lesson explores the needs, conditions and housing for the different types of pocket pets.
