Instructional Design (TOEFL Listening)

Class Size and Composition:

There are six Chinese students who are English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners in one class, and they are either senior high students or freshmen and sophomores enrolled in universities. 

Prior Knowledge:

Students in a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) listening class have usually completed vocabulary and grammar learning for TOEFL, have obtained acceptable results in our internal test, or have already taken a TOEFL with an overall score of 70 or below, or a score of 17 or below for the listening portion of the test. They usually have basic vocabulary ranging from 3,500 words (the National College Entrance Examination requirement) to 4,500 words (the College English Test Band 4 requirement).
