An Introduction to Philosophy, Second Edition (2019) is an adaptation by Marc Skuster of "An Introduction to Philosophy" (2015) by W. Russ Payne.  This adaptation includes the following changes:

• Occasional minor changes have been made in spelling, paragraphing, punctuation, and word choice.
• Headings and Subheadings are added and/or edited as appropriate to clarify structure.
• References in the original to class assignments are deleted.
• Links to original sources are moved to the end of the chapter and listed in a "Further Reading" section that includes additional online primary and secondary resources.
• Review tools added to each chapter include lists of important names, terms, and concepts.
• Duplicate Discussion Questions have been removed from Chapter 4, and new Discussion Questions have been created for Chapter 7.
• Exercises at the end of Chapter 2 have been removed.
• Descriptive link text replaces URL given in the original as links.
• Dates and links to Internet resources have been added for important philosophers mentioned in the text.
• Learning objectives have been added at the beginning of each chapter.
