Court report writing samples or resources

A number of people at Universities, Regional Training Academies, and Counties throughout the state have commented that court report writing practices differ regionally, if not even intra-region. Does anyone have resources exemplifying the standards / best practices / specific intricacies of court report writing for their region? Any good and bad writing samples, and text explaining the local best practices, would be greatly appreciated.
