Reaching Out

I chose to remix a lesson that basically takes a read aloud and expands it, just as I know many of us do everyday in our libraries. I found OER Commons to be not very user friendly and a little confusing.  I had trouble finding a resource that actually had the green remix button even though I selected that in my original search.  I agree with some others’ comments that especially for elementary librarians and teachers, Teachers Pay Teachers is much easier to find what you need and that makes it worth paying for.  The interface of OER Commons seemed pretty outdated and clunky to me.

in retrospect, I wish I had spent more time polishing my unit.  I need to learn how to embed a video.
