NE OER conference sustainability topic help....looking for a co-presenter.

by Kathy DesRoches 2 years ago

Ongoing evaluation of OER is something I have wondered about over the past couple of years. In my grad program, I have created books and then I have to ask faculty (who theoretically work for me) to provide feedback on my work.  I wonder does if the materials are relevant? Do they need to be updated?

I don't have a timeline for how often to review, or even a lens to review.  Does anyone have a solution or similar experience? I'm subitting a presentation about this topic and would love a collaborator/co-presenter (aka partner in crime).

I am not sure if this is exactly what you need, but if you google "OER Review Rubrics" you will get some stuff that may be helpful to you. Things like:

  • https://louis.oercommons.org/courseware/lesson/945/overview

Hope this helps!

Thank you for writing. I found rubrics for adoption (the ones you included appear to be for adoption) but nothing specifically to evaluate adopted OER. How do you evaluate your adopted text and how often?
