How might you describe open educational resources (OER) to your colleagues?

OER is a resource/tool that can help teachers, students, or anyone collaborate and learn. OER is a communication and learning tool that can help teachers teach students of their own as well as others around the nation/world. And students can also become teachers and share their knowledge and findings.
