1.clarifying , sharing  and understanding learning targets and success criteria.

2. Engineering effective classroom discussions and learning task that elicit evidence of learning .

3. Active learning opportunites for teachers these activites includes reading, role play, open ended discussions and research based practice in teaching.

4.unrealistic expectations of how much time it will take schools and teachers to adopt and implement goals.

5.Too many goals and priorities competing for teachers time , energy and attention
