Course Description (Catalog):

Management principles including communications, motivation and group dynamics are the focus of the course. In this course students will explore problem solving strategies for effective planning, cost control and overall organization in a management environment.

Course Objectives:

  • To develop management skills in problem- solving and critical thinking skill.
  • To provide a sound management background for further study in management.
  • To develop basic management skills by working on (community) research project/paper
  • To provide a solid foundation for success and enough competence to proceed to the next level of the management course.

Learning Outcomes:

At the completion of this course, students should be able to:

  • Demonstrate knowledge in management concepts and terminology.
  • Identify, organizes and allocate resources efficiently and effectively.
  • Participate as a member of a team, exercise leadership, negotiate and work with otherspossessing diverse backgrounds.
  • Think creatively, make decisions and solve real world problems and issues.
