Objective: Students will create a compilation of 20 images from the 1960s and explain the significance of each image.  

Procedure:

  • Ask students to brainstorm different figures, events, and places
  • After having done this, ask students to create a digital photo collage (using a program of their choice) which covers 20 iconic figures, events, and places of the 1960’s
  • Each image should be accompanied by a written explanation of what each image is and why the student feels that image was important

Product or Assessment: Digital photo collage in various forms

Accommodations: Instructor could provide a list of required figures, events, and places
