This course will acquaint the student with some of the ancient Greek contributions to the Western philosophical and scientific tradition. We will examine a broad range of central philosophical themes concerning: nature, law, justice, knowledge, virtue, happiness, and death. There will be a strong emphasis on analyses of arguments found in the texts.
At the end of the lesson you can identify 2 different opinions concerning (anti)globalisation, you can state your own opinion about this and you can offer a short summary of the contents of a a text you have listened to.
At the completion of this chapter you will be able to formulate an opinion in a forum regarding anti-globalism. You will be able to: follow the main thread on the discussion forum, recognize opinions for and against globalization
