Technology's Impact in American History (TIAH)

Teacher-created primary source lessons illustrating government's role in technological innovation

About

The National Council for History Education (NCHE), funded by a grant from the Library of Congress, brings together teachers from across the nation for a series of colloquia exploring the Library's primary sources and those of the Astronauts Memorial Foundation (AMF), the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), and the United States Army Heritage and Education Center (USAHEC). Led by a NCHE team of historians, education specialists, and master teachers, classroom teachers create and share primary source lessons exploring how policy has impacted the growth of technological innovation throughout American history.
