"The Most Dangerous Game" Imagery Table

(View Complete Item Description)

This lesson was created by Renste Moeller as part of the Nebraska ESUCC Special Project Digital Age Skills. After reading “The Most Dangerous Game” students will comb through the text to pull out the best examples of imagery from the story. They will work together in groups of three to collect five examples (per person) of imagery. Students must be able to see each other’s examples, so they don’t repeat them, but also help each other identify which imagery is being documented.

Digital Age Skill:Biology Cell Cycle/Mitosis Project

(View Complete Item Description)

Students will create an Adobe Spark to demonstrate the cell cycle and mitosis. Students take pictures of hand signals to model the cell cycle and mitosis, creating a digital storybook of the stages, with short descriptions of each stage. Students also add a section about abnormal cell cycles and cancer, with a specific example named and described. Students use Adobe Spark to link the stages of the cell cycle together and animate the process, simplifying the concepts to make them easier to remember.
