Group Description

Grandview School District’s literacy and mathematics teacher leaders in partnership with outside literacy and mathematics consultants have written draft ELA units for grades 6 – 11 and math units for K-5, aligned to state learning standards. While their work began with the goal of creating consistent and viable units of study for Grandview teachers, the district has developed the units with adherence to licensing permissions and proper open resource attribution so the units can live in the OER world as well and promote equity of access to standards based work for all students.

These units are under continual improvement as ongoing needs of teachers and students are addressed. You are welcome to download and adapt the units as needed for your own student population. Alternate material licenses with different levels of user permission are clearly indicated above and next to the specific content in the unit.
