by Mindy Boland 2 years, 1 month agoAt ISKME I have worked with our partners at CAST on researching the use of OER metadata and have done a lot of work to ensure that our sites are accessible to our users. Additionally, I have strived to add accessibility features to Open Author, such as our Accessibility Checker and our EPUB3 download options.
Hello, I'm Christopher Dobson. I am an Instructional Multimedia Developer in the Academy for Teaching Excellence at Harper College. I have been at the college 20+ years and have worked in conjunction with our Access and Disability Services at the college to improve digital accessibility issues and provide workshops in accessibility, inclusive teaching practices, OER, and Universal Design for Learning. I recently participated in a few 2023 Open Education Week sessions and connected with several like minded professionals at the event. I hope to further connect and contribute in the development of additional open education materials.
