Educators Evaluating Quality Instructional Products (EQuIP) is a
collaborative of ADP Network states that are focused on increasing the
supply of quality instructional materials that are aligned to the Common
Core State Standards and available for instruction in elementary, middle,
and high school classrooms.
The EQuIP rubric is derived from the Tri-State Rubric and the collaborative
development process led by Massachusetts, New York, and Rhode Island and
facilitated by Achieve.
This tool requires the input of knowledgeable and experienced teachers and
administrators to evaluate this resource in full for the future benefit of these educators
and their students.
Guidelines & Reminders
- Before assessing the alignment of OER to standards, you should have
access to the Common Core State Standards (CCSS). These can be found at
www.corestandards.org.
- The purpose of a Quality Review is to provide specific input for
the improvement of instructional materials so that teaching
and learning are aligned with the CCSS. Comments are important!
- The EQuIP Rubric is meant to produce an evaluation that is
holistic in nature, and is NOT meant to evaluate single tasks. Apply
evaluations to the largest meaningful unit.
- Your review of an object is complete once the ratings are submitted through the "Finalize
OER Review" button at the bottom of the last rubric.
