Common Core Online for Social Workers

The California Common Core for social work professionals underwent a large-scale revision between 2015 and 2017, and Common Core 3.0 curricula was released in February, 2017.

It is delivered via multiple modalities--including eLearning, which is a new component to Common Core--to support the new social worker in gaining knowledge, practice skills, and transfer of learning.

Each e-learning within Common Core Online has measurable Learning Objectives for Knowledge, Skills, and Values essential for providing excellent service to families and children in California’s county child welfare programs. The Common Core 3.0 (CC 3.0) new online component is intended to provide training participants a broader foundation within each subject area prior to classroom engagement. The Common Core curriculum is systematically and continually evaluated and revised. The eLearning files are the published SCORM files, not the editable source files.

In addition to the e-learning files, you can also access the instructor-led training files (trainer guide, trainee guide, class PowerPoint).
