Please Note: Many of our activities were created by upper-division students at Boise State University and serve as a foundation that our community of practice can build upon and refine. While they are polished, we welcome and encourage collaboration from language instructors to help modify grammar, syntax, and content where needed.
    2. Then, play the mini-juego to build on preposition knowledge using llama images and cups.
      2. Move llama beside the cup, and have students follow.
      3. Repeat using the different prepositions from the cheat sheet

    MAIN ACTIVITY

    1. Have everyone stand up and head over to the white map posted on the floor.
    2. The students should work together to position the cards containing different buildings and landmarks. Have them try to use prepositions to describe where the place is.
Por ejemplo, *Insert example from your map*
    3.  Draw only one card at a time and ask: “¿Dónde está este lugar?”
    4. Everyone must agree before the card is placed down on the map.
      Todos necesitan estar de acuerdo.

    WRAP-UP

    1. Ask students the following questions:
    • ¿Dónde está tu restaurante favorito?
    • ¿Dónde está tu escuela/clase/etc.?
