      Warm-Up

      1.  Begin by discussing the Can-Do statements.

      • Beginnen Sie mit der Diskussion der Can-Do-Aussagen

      2.  Ask the students about their breakfast that morning.  In case someone did not eat breakfast, have them think of a breakfast they might like to eat or what they normally eat.

      3.  Share the following German proverb:  "Eat your breakfast like an emperor, lunch like a king, and dinner like a pauper"

      4.  Display the slide containing the German breakfast foods and discuss the differences between their breakfast and the typical German breakfast.
