    Materials Needed

    Warm-Up

Was ist für euch “alltäglich”? (What is 'everyday' for you?)

(Do you often walk or drive during the day?)

(Do you think people in the U.S. drive less or more than Germans?)

    Main Activity

    1. Have students choose a celebrity to be. The slide offers a few choices, but they are welcome to choose whoever they would like to be.

    2. Have students answer the next questions, as the celebrity that they are.  Have students give the other “celebrities” advice on where they should go/what they should do in Boise.

(Which professions bring about a difficult everyday life?)
    • Wie sieht Alltag aus? Wie plant ihr euren Tag? (What does everyday life look like?  How do you plan your day?)
(Is cleanliness and order in everyday life important to you?)

(Are you mostly stressed or in a hurry?  Or do you also take breaks during the day?)
    • Was sind Glücksbringer in den USA? (ein Cent auf der Straße finden? Schwarze Katze? usw.?) (What are good luck charms in the U.S? (find a dime on the street?  black cat?  etc?))
