Description:

In this activity, the students are going to talk about their hobbies and what they like to do in their free time.

Materials Needed:

Warm-up

  • 1. Using the linked Kahoot, students will guess the activity based on the clues. Make sure the students understand what the clues mean. 
    • Hoy, vamos a jugar un Kahoot. Necesitan adivinar la actividad basada en las pistas. 
       

Main Activity

  • 1. The slides have a photo at the top and then a list of questions below. Ask the students to ask each other. One student will start and choose another student to ask the question. The student who answers then chooses another student to ask the next question, and so on and so forth. 
    • Vamos a preguntar al grupo sobre diferentes actividades. Yo iré primero, y después de responder, ustedes van a tomar turnos haciendo preguntas para el grupo.  
  • 2. Preguntas para terminar. 
    • Vamos a repasar que aprendíamos con estas preguntas para terminar. 

End of lab:

  • Read can-do statements and have students evaluate their confidence with smiley faces in the chat - :D :) :/ :(
  • Encourage students to be honest in their self-evaluation
  • Pay attention, and try to use feedback for future labs!
