Overview
This I.L.P. It aims to teach the concept of some viral diseases, the symptoms, the place of origin and the risks of each of them so that, adolescents are more informed about the subject, can speak properly and know how to differentiate if they have any symptoms. Also, it will help them to have more knowledge about the different viruses that have affected the world.

15-20 min | PRE | Pre-speaking activity: To begin with; the teacher will ask some questions about how students feel today about the current situation, showing some examples through the questions, for instance: “Are you feeling sad? Confused? Worried?” After this, the teacher will apply a game called “Virus Game” in PowerPoint about some common virus types. Students should pay attention and answer the questions according to their background knowledge. Note: At the end of each question the game shows the correct answer with its justification to enrich the student's knowledge

30-40 min | WHILE | While activity: To contextualize the students, the teacher will show a presentation (https://view.genial.ly/5eb79653dbf4150d7216c9a7/presentation-viral-diseases) in which will be the explanation of five viral diseases. The presentation aims to point out the differences between them; usually people get confused because each viral disease have similar symptoms. Once the presentation is done, the teacher will ask if anyone has doubts to clarify them. After that, the teacher will continue with a speaking activity call “Snake and ladders” a game made in Excel. The students will have to conform groups of four to play this game. Next, they will have to choose a token to identify themselves on the board. The objective of the game is to evaluate how much they got about the previous presentation. In this game, they have to move from start to the end answering some questions; if they fail, they will return. | Teacher- Students |

15 min | POST | Post activity: Once we have talked about viral diseases, symptoms, and so on; we will proceed to do one last activity to show how much the students learned about these viruses and if they have clarified their doubts about any of them. For this we will use a game called "who wants to be a millionaire" in which there will be a number of questions about the viruses already seen that will level up if the student answers correctly. The objective of this activity is to conclude in a fun way with the help of its classmates the topic of viral diseases. At the same time, students will be expanding their knowledge and vocabulary in English.
