    Overview

    Objective: The student will list 2 short term goals and two long term goals using the SMARTER method.

    Short term goals: A short-term goal is something you want to do in the near future. The near future can mean today, this week, this month, or even this year.

    Long term Goals: Goals that take a long time to achieve are called long-term goals.

    SMARTER goal setting method: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Timely, Evaluation and Readjustmant.

        Students will watch the 8 minute video to reinforce the instructors lecture.

     

     

     

    Health Class Short term and Long term goals

    Teacher will lecture on:  Short term and Long term Goals and SMART method of goal setting.

    Long term Goals: Goals that take a long time to achieve are called long-term goals.

    Video Accomplish Your Dreams in 2017 will be shown to students either on the white board or each student will view on the computer lab computers.

                                      

    Student will Watch the 8 minute video Accomplish Your Dreams in 2017. Video will be viewed on the class whiteboard or each student will view on the computer.

    Teacher will hand out the Short and Long Term Goals Sheet.

    Students will fill out the Short and Long Term Goals Sheet.
