    Elaborate

This is a task or project where you can show what you know.

    Directions:

This can do module is focused on working on your listening. Athenas Venica is a young, famous singer from Argentina. She is well known for her music that accents her moral and religious beliefs. One of Athena's Venice's famous songs is "Siempre te amaré."

Watch Athena's music video and listen closely to the things she says. Answer the following questions in English and in complete sentences after you listen and watch.

    1. Identify the chorus, the few lines that repeat themselves throughout the song. How many times is siempre said in the chorus?

    2. Did you hear any other frequency words throughout the song? If so, which ones? Indicate the time of the video you heard it at.

    3. Before the song plays, Athenas provides a little message to her audience. What do you understand about what she says? Did you catch any words that you already knew or sound like English words? I do not want a direct translation of what she says.

    4. Did you like this song? Why or why not? Would you listen to more Spanish music like this?

    5. Make a connection! Find an American singer that makes some kind of connection to the kind of singer Athenas is. Which one and what is the connection? Be specific.
