    Overview

    In this seminar you will be able to hold a short conversation asking and answering questions about your name, age and where you live. Being able to hold a conversation is very important and essentially the purpose of this course.  As you meet someone you want to learn the basics- what is their name, how are they doing, where are they from, etc.

    This is a task or project where you can show what you know.

    Directions:

    Create a story of 2 characters greeting each other, asking basic questions (at least two questions & correct responses), and saying farewell.  Your story must have audio so you may complete it one of the following ways:

    • Create your own video at home with friends and submit the video

    • Create a storyboard via powerpoint or another application with audio

    • Use goanimate.com to create a video with audio

    If you have any other suggestions to complete the project, contact your teacher for approval first.

    Complete this wrap-up activity where you reflect on your learning.  

    1. Write a reflection essay answering the following questions:

    • In what ways have you improved in your ability to converse in Spanish this week?

    • What brought about those improvements?  What did you learn this week that helped to building up your speaking ability?

    • Include an artifact(s) that contains specific experiences, readings, assignments, or discussions in this course that supports your point.
