Physics for beginners with wiki-pages for ancillary supplements.

The need for an OER textbook on conceptual physics led to the discovery of a short book Matthew Raspanti posted on the internet back in 2008. He agreed to a CC-BY-NC-SA licence that permits the text to reside on Wikiversity as a pdf file. It is available as a single 162 page document, as well as 20 much shorter documents to facilitate online navigation.

Each of these 20 sections links out of a WIKI page that will permit the submission and sharing of ancillary materials under a CC-BY-SA license. These wiki-pages can be organized to host an arbitrary number of submissions by students, as well as by instructors.

Quizbank/Creating a bank so students won't ''break the bank''

I propose to create as sort of "Wikipedia" of exam bank questions that focus on the general education courses associated with the first two years of college. I believe enough courses would benefit from such a bank that it could significantly reduce the cost of higher education. A physics and astronomy bank has already been constructed, and a user-friendly exam-writing code has been written.

Spanish 1

Welcome, disciples, to Spanish 1 - your guide to the Spanish language! This course is designed for English speakers. Knowing Spanish will improve your experience while visiting a Spanish-speaking country or learning another Romance language such as French, Italian, or Portuguese. Today, 21 countries in Latin America, Europe (Spain) and Africa (Equatorial Guinea) have Spanish as their national language. In the United States, it is offered as a foreign language course in the majority of high schools and, with a growing Hispanic minority, the number of people who use the language increases by the day. Over 500 million people speak Spanish worldwide, and Spanish is an easy language to learn for fluent speakers of English or a Romance language. Spanish-speaking countries have beautifully rich cultures, something especially notable in literature, food, music, and the arts. Throughout this course, there will be 'knowledge sections' that contain facts about Spanish-speaking countries and their cultures. Our forum is a place where you can receive feedback and ask questions about Spanish.

The Storyboard Artwork Project

In this project, you create educational materials for schools. If you like to draw human figures or if you have Poser or DAZ Studio, you can join. The artwork that you will create in this project turns Tux Paint into a storyboarding program. The artwork is a human figure viewed from many angles. Once you have drawn the artwork, you mask the figures so they can be used as "stamps" in Tux Paint for kids to create storyboards for motion pictures. These special stamps allow Tux Paint to work like a simple version of Storyboard Quick and Storyboard Artist. Hopefully, this project teaches you everything you need to know to create storyboarding stamps for Tux Paint.
