The website is broken into consonants and vowels, listening and reading exercises, and dictation. Section include an introduction, examples, and exercises and tests to ensure proper learning. Short vowels are also introduced in these lessons. Letter keys are provided for those not on a computer that allows for typing in Arabic.

The "Reading the Quran" section of the MiniMuslims site contains a brief introduction to the Arabic alphabet and the pronunciation of the letters. There are four pages: one contains an interactive alphabet that users can click on to hear the names of the Arabic letters and the other three contain demonstrations of the how to pronounce the three Arabic short vowels. There are other videos throughout the website that relate to teaching the Arabic alphabet to children.

Highly popular and well advertised, this is a program that includes CD-ROMs and the ability to access online lessons. A headset and microphone are included in some of the packages. The Rosetta Stone technique teaches how to say vocabulary and phrases first; reading and writing are eschewed until later. There is also a learning application for an iPhone or iPod touch device. Diacritics and interactive games are included.
