BCC Bioscience Image Library is a media file repository of images and video clips made available to educators and students in the biological sciences. The resources are created by faculty, staff and students of Berkshire Community College and are licensed under Creative Commons 0. This means all content is free, with no restrictions on how the material may be used, reused, adapted or modified for any purposes, without restriction under copyright or database law.

Arabalicious is a website full of resources for teachers of Arabic, run by Taoufiq Cherkaoui. The website includes PowerPoints available for download on concepts such as telling time, fruits and vegetables, culture, and basic greetings, to name a few. Worksheets to go along with the PowerPoints are also available for free download. The website further includes pictures that are available with the author's permission and some postings on available jobs for Arabic instructors as per 2012.

Students will have multiple opportunities to practice fingerspelling their receptive, fingerspelling comprehension skills. Within this lab students will have exposure to different speeds of fingerspelling and a variety of letter pairs.

Students will review vocabulary words relating to food, using a game of Heads Up. Then, they will practice using those words with a card game that requires them to match words with the picture.

This article provides geography lessons to teach elementary students about the polar regions. Literacy extensions are included for each lesson.

This article explains how hands-on science activity can support vocabulary development and links to two books and six web sites that provide more information.

Students will be shown pictures of humorous captions written by native Japanese speakers. The students will then be given a random picture that they will caption themselves in Japanese, with one judge giving points to the most creative or humorous captions they read. At the end of the activity, the students will reflect on the differences between their humor and the humor in the Japanese captions.
