Teachers need an easy, one stop shop, to find lessons to make learning fun Lessons found within Move Learning are aligned with the Common Core State Standards for K-8, and have been developed by experience teachers and kinesthetic experts. Each lesson is accompanied by a short video demonstrating the activity, so you can see and feel how the lesson might work in your classroom. Finally, the series of lessons is packaged into an easy to use K-8 kit, allowing teachers to scaffold student learning.

Students will explore the concept of two-digit numbers by moving their bodies to represent either the tens or ones place. They will use their bodies to compare 2 two-digit numbers, using the symbols <,=,> to compare different values.

Pearl Diver is a fun, interactive web-based game and app for iPad and iPhone. Players learn the number line while diving for pearls amidst shipwrecks and sunken ruins. This learning game addresses standard mathematic concepts included in the current Common Core curriculum such as:
-understanding numbers, ways of representing numbers, and number systems
-understanding and representing commonly used fractions
-understanding fractions as part of unit wholes and as locations on number lines
-comparing and ordering fractions, and finding their approximate locations on the number line
Pearl Diver is supported by supplementary materials including teacher’s guide, learner’s guide, “Teaching With Pearl Diver” video, and printable resources. It is available in English and Spanish. This game is available free on the Apple App Store.

This document describes a series of lessons in the Social Sciences, all of which are tied to the exploration of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) as a Primary Source Document. They are designed to be given to 9th or 10th grade students in a World History, Cultural Geography, or similar social science class. They are specifically designed to teach the Common Core Standards for Literacy in the Social Sciences, and to engage higher order thinking skills.

Students will analyze ratios and use proportions to solve problems using a cooperative, kinesthetic activity in which they will create “human ratios.” Students will apply proportional reasoning to demonstrate application of a multiplicative situation by using cross products to solving proportions.

سيستكشف الطلاب الأعداد المتعددة الأرقام والعلاقة بين الآحاد والعشرات والمئات؛ الرقم في منزلة معينة يكون عشر مرات أكبر من قيمته إذا وجد في المنزلة التي عن يمينه. سيستخدم الطلاب أجسادهم لتمثيل الأرقام في الأعداد المتعددة الأرقام حتى منزلة المئات.

سيستخدم الطلاب مزيجًا من الكتابة واستخدام أجسامهم لتمثيل أعداد لها منزلات عدة من 1000 إلى 1/1000. سوف الأعداد بقوى العشرة ويقسمونها بها، فيضيفون الأصفار للأعداد أو يحذفونها منها بحسب الحاجة.
