This is not the optimal rehearsal situation but is often the only one available. Care should be taken to position the singers so they can easily see the conductor. Commercial rehearsal risers are available but they are not inexpensive. Performance risers are plentiful and, if one does not have them, they can often be rented at a nominal fee.
