This series of radio programs was produced by the Great Lakes Radio Consortium (GLRC). The GLRC asked 28 stakeholders in the Great Lakes basin to rank the major issues affecting the Great Lakes. The top ten issues were: invasive species, nonpoint-source pollution, shoreline development (wetlands), ship channels, point-source pollution, disappearance of native species, pollution hot spots, air pollution, beach pollution, and water withdrawals. GLRC sent out reporters to interview specialists and explore these issues in depth. Each program includes an audio presentation, a slideshow, and a written transcript. (less)
