Mainly an Islamic site for children, this section of Play & Learn provides an introduction to all of the letters in the Arabic alphabet. There are a total of 74 printable worksheets, some of which provide practice for children to write the letters and some intended for children to recognize the letters in their connected and unconnected forms. The worksheets also provide practice with long vowels and tanween and the site provides downloadable audio pronunciations of each letter.

This group of free videos uploaded to YouTube by Dar Al Syraj offers myriad opportunities for young children to learn the Arabic language. There are multiple videos on the alphabet and the letters, including writing, singing, and pronouncing the various letters, as well as videos on basic vocabulary such as animals and days of the week. Most of the 40 uploaded videos are no more than a couple of minutes in length. Some of the videos include transliterated words and lyrics along with the songs.

This project is an attempt to build a comprehensive database of Arabic place names that covers the entire world, not just place names in the Arabic speaking world. The place names are proofread carefully to ensure adherence to the rules of hamza orthography, something often ignored in most publications. The database gives the correct name in Arabic script, its name in English or transliteration, spelling variants, and common errors in spelling. Frequency of variants is also given.
