Lesson Topic: Family Forms & Functions

Lesson Description: Discuss family forms and strengths, and family traditions.

Learning Goals/Outcomes: Students will draw conclusions from classroom activities and discussions that will enhance interactions with their families.

Nebraska Standards:

HSE.HS. 1.5 Analyze the effects of family as a system on individuals and society.

HSE.HS.1.5.a Evaluate the function of the family as the basic unit of society.

-Copies of Unit 2 packet for each student. (See attachment)

-Powerpoint on Teen Living Family Forms Strengthening. (See attachment)

Time Required for Lesson:

-1 class period for 45 minutes each.
