Description

Overview:
In this sample YouTube clip, i3zif CEO and co-founder Bisher Abu Taleb demonstrates the proper cadence and finger-placement for a popular Arabic song, "Ya ʿAshiqata al-Wardi," on a guitar. Founded by Bisher Abu Taleb, a vocalist and guitarist, and Ayham Abu Hammad, a music and video editor, i3zif (play) is an Arabic online music school that provides musical instrument instruction in Arabic and English. The video features three screens simultaneously, one of which follows the instructor's fingers on the guitar, while the other two show musical notes synchronized with the instructor's performance on the guitar, and a zoomed-out shot of the instructor.

The clip is a preview of how similar i3zif music classes function online. Instruments taught at i3zif include the oud (stringed instrument), darbuka (goblet drum), guitar, and piano. i3zif also offers lessons in Arabic vocals. The school's entire YouTube library can be found at the following link: https://www.youtube.com/user/i3zif
