Overview:
Being able to conduct productive job searches is key to finding employment opportunities. Digital literacy is also a necessity for gaining employment. That’s why this course aims to provide adult basic education participants the ability to self-navigate the internet to search for relevant, reliable search results. Participants will be able to demonstrate how this increased digital literacy related to internet searching can help them successfully find relevant job opportunities.

This lesson plan is very thorough in its explanation of details and being specific with the language used which reflects the standards for this grade level.

This includes several deeper learning skills for adults and special education students can benefit from. Apart from the job search and technology use, communication and navigation skills are very strong here if implemented properly.

It is well-designed, easy to use and functions almost flawlessly. Strong points are extensions/reductions of time if needed and the follow-up explanation and discussion.

Quality of assessments are great and perfectly describe what a student will know before, during and after the lesson. I only suggest using another means to capture this as an assessment because some learners may not prefer worksheets. Perhaps using

Due to the specified targeted groups, I think this can be used as a whole group, small group, or individual assessment. I think this could be more efficient and helpful if the first module was done in a small group pr even whole class setting.
