Artifact: A Job Interview

Artifact: A job interview

Purpose

This assignment is designed for undergraduate/graduate students in social sciences/humanities to learn to express their ideas digitally based on a specific topic. A digital artifact is a digital expression of one’s ideas and understanding of a specific topic.

A job interview is the theme and is an assignment for the “Self and Society” sociology class. This assignment stimulates creativity and helps one to communicate through images, sounds and text and to develop computer skills. Text has been the dominant form of communication in academic writing, but in a digital world one needs to learn to express oneself digitally.
